As you are probably aware, the Major League Baseball (MLB) will blackout live games from your home (or even nearby) states. The reason is that the local broadcaster has the rights to show the game.
There is an easy, cheap and effective way to get around the MLB blackout, and that is to use a US proxy service to give yourself an IP address in a different state.
MLB.tv uses your IP address to determine your likely geographical location. The blackouts are then applied to the required areas, and all IP addresses that are known to be in those areas.
